In 2023 –
- MFHS is the largest WIC provider in PA – serving over 72,000 participants – and still growing!
- NEW Oral Health Services are helping to narrow the gap in access to care for our vulnerable clients.
- Bette’s Closet provided nearly 40 women with maternity clothes in the for 5 months since opening.
- Our FIRST hygiene pantry opened in Hazleton to help combat period poverty.
- We opened the FIRST Maternity Medical Home in PA – offering comprehensive prenatal, obstetric, postpartum and newborn care services.
- The new Mobile WIC Unit hit the road – aimed at serving clients in our most rural areas.
- Donations allowed us to break down barriers by offering travel assistance to people who may otherwise forgo care.
