Today, June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. This means that there is no longer a Federal constitutional right to receive an abortion.  Each individual state will determine an individual’s right to abortion.   Maternal and Family Health Services (MFHS) is committed to ensuring all individuals throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania have access to quality reproductive health services and education to promote a healthy lifestyle.  Services provided by MFHS are not impacted by the Supreme Court’s ruling.  MFHS will continue to closely monitor the situation at federal and state levels and will communicate any updates or changes.
