#GivingTuesday, an international day of charitable giving, is only two weeks away! On November 28th, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, MFHS will be participating in Giving Tuesday by hosting fundraisers on our Facebook page.
This year, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will provide $2 million in matching funds for nonprofits on Facebook on this day. For each organization, the foundation will match up to $50,000 raised on its Facebook page.
To celebrate this wonderful opportunity, we ask that you consider making a donation to MFHS on #GivingTuesday. We encourage you to get involved by sending us your #UNselfie, a picture of yourself with a sign saying why you support our agency, or simply by posting online about your donation. Be sure to tag us and use our hashtag, #FamilytoFamily, to demonstrate your support for local families. We’ll be sharing some of those pictures here and our social media.
