MFHS would like to congratulate the recipient of the 2018 Kathy Dickerson Memorial Scholarship, Sabrina Jara!
Sabrina is currently a student at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, where she is studying Neuroscience and Psychology. She plans to continue her education after she graduates, and wants to become either a physician’s assistant or a nurse.
Sabrina credits her daughter with inspiring her to do her very best in school, so that she can provide her with everything she needs to have a happy and healthy childhood. Sabrina even made the Dean’s List for the first time in her college career while pregnant! Her nurse, Lorianne, has been working closely with Sabrina to ensure she has a healthy pregnancy, and is also helping her learn how to balance school and new motherhood.
Congratulations Sabrina and we wish you all the best as you finish school and raise your daughter!
