Nurse Family Partnership
The NFP is a voluntary program giving first-time moms valuable knowledge and support throughout pregnancy and until their babies reach two years of age. Partnering first-time moms with caring nurse home visitors empowers mothers to confidently create a better life for their children and themselves.
The NFP nurses start working with first-time moms early in pregnancy. By meeting with moms early in pregnancy, our nurse home visitors address questions and concerns, prepare moms for childbirth, and help ensure a healthy baby.
From helping you have a healthy pregnancy, to coaching on child development, to empowering you to pursue your heart’s desire, the nurse home visitor will always be there for you, so you can be there for your baby. For more information about the Nurse-Family Partnership, you can also visit their national website.
The United Way Of Wyoming Valley and the United Way of Susquehanna County are proud partners of Maternal & Family Health Services and the Nurse-Family Partnership.
