Calling all superheroes: get your masks and capes ready! MFHS is hosting the Healthy Heroes Walk at the first annual Northeast Pennsylvania Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. This fun, family-friendly fundraising walk will directly support the families we serve. All funds raised by walkers go directly to MFHS.

Walker registration is now open! Start planning your team and let your friends and family know you’ll be walking by sharing our save the date! You can visit the MFHS page on the NEPA Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community website to learn more, donate and register your team today. There is no fee to walk, but the more you raise for MFHS, the more prizes you’ll be eligible for!

The day will feature fun for the whole family. Our superheroes will enjoy: the PNC Field Kids Zone, snacks & refreshments, prizes, team mascots, and much more! Mark your calendars and join us on June 16th!

The Details

When: June 16, 2018 9:00 am. (registration opens at 7:45 am)
Where: PNC Field, Moosic PA.
What: 5k walk and 1 mile fun walk.
Who: You, your family and friends!

Fundraising Incentives

Walkers will receive the following for each fundraising milestone:

  • $25 – Crayola Dry Erase Fun Transfer (youth)
  • $30 – Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community t-shirt (from Highmark)
  • $50 – Healthy Heroes superhero cape (youth)/Healthy Heroes cooler bag (adults)
  • $100 – every $100 raised will get one entry into our grand prize drawing

Once you register, send friends and family to your personal walk page and ask them to donate! You can also download this donation form and collect cash donations to deliver to MFHS at the walk.

Grand Prize

1 week vacation in Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach, courtesy of Sundance Vacations! The certificate includes 8 days/7 nights at a Sundance Vacations property in South Carolina for up to 6 people. The grand prize covers accommodations only, and does not include transportation. Blackout dates apply during the summer, holidays and special events. Valid for one year from date of issue (June 16, 2018). The grand prize will be chosen after the online donation form closes on June 29th.

For our second place winner, we have an awesome VIP RailRiders Game-Day Package! This grand prize winner will receive the following:

  • 4 Infield Box seats to a regular season 2018 Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders game
  • A Meet and Greet with Champ, the RailRiders team mascot, before or during the game
  • A family photo taken on the field before the game
  • Concession stand meal vouchers for 4
  • 4 RailRiders keepsake logo baseballs
  • A VIP tour of the ballpark before the game

The game-day package is valid from June 16th, 2018 through September 1st, 2018. Tickets and seating are based on availability.
