One of the ways we achieve our mission of “meeting the needs of our community” is by embracing diversity. We have renewed and reinvigorated our commitment to advancing cultural competency throughout the organization to strengthen quality of care and patient satisfaction. Our dedicated team of more than 200 professionals come from increasingly diverse backgrounds that enable them to serve the women, children and families in 16 Pennsylvania counties.
Likewise, we will not achieve our mission without embracing technology. To that end, our new moms text their Nurse Family Partnership nurses and our teens explore the interactive features of SafeTeens.org. From our Facebook page to our newly launched agency website, we are constantly improving our abilities to reach out to and serve the women, children and families in the community.
As much as things change, at the core of our mission is Care. That will never change. It’s who we are and what we do every day. We will continue to provide care to Pennsylvania’s pregnant women, new moms, students, women and children.
As we move forward, we will also maintain our reputation as a trusted partner and a consistent and effective organization providing tremendous public health value in our communities.
