2014 Youth Partner Outreach Award – John Dawe
MFHS is proud to announce the first of this year’s Annual Meeting award recipients. John W. Dawe has been selected to receive the 2014 Youth Partner Outreach Award for his commitment to build safe and supportive environments for all Northeastern Pennsylvania young people regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity.
From the LGBTQA United Together: Individuals, Families, Communities professional conference to the ever-growing Pride Week and PrideFest, John’s work at NEPA Rainbow Alliance has helped MFHS build organizational competency and open new and needed outreach avenues. Thanks to his unwavering focus on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender youth, this partnership has strengthened our mission-driven commitment to meeting the needs of the entire Northeastern Pennsylvania community — through information, education and quality CARE.
