Congratulations to MFHS Board Vice-Chair Carol Douds on receiving the Albert N. Danoff Trustees Humanitarian Award from the Family Service Association of Northeastern PA! Carol was chosen for her dedication and leadership to families in our community.
She joined the Family Service Association Board in September 2010 and has served on the Friends, Gala Auction and Personnel committees. In addition to the Family Service Association Board, Douds also serves on other boards including the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber and the Appleseed Foundation. She is the vice-chairwoman of Maternal and Family Health Services and the Step by Step board. She is past president of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Auxiliary board and the American Red Cross board.
